1958 newspaper article. Sixty-four years ago (and counting). We’ve been telling you about all this for a very long time.
How much longer will you wait?
It won’t be too much longer that you can wait.
- Stop using 2-cycle engines (leaf blower, lawn mowers)
- Stop idling your car when you are just sitting in a parking lot.
- Stop driving when you could walk there. (Say, anything less than 2 miles, at least 1 mile)
- Don’t run the air conditioner when you can simply open your windows. (Many reasons to do that one!)
- And all the other Just Plain Common Sense Things To Do once you realize this planet is the only one we have. It’s our living room, and we have to share it with uncounted Trillions of other living creatures (squirrels, raccoons, ants, trees, cats, dogs, elephants — trillions upon trillions of living, feeling creatures), who also are just trying to get by.
