I’ll let Linus speak this one… it’s pretty self-explanatory, and 100% correct, besides.

Frankly, no idea where this cartoon came from, if this is original Charles Schultz or if it was originally something else Linus was pontificating on (he could do that, Linus could), but it works here. Thank you. (Was submitted by a reader.)

Always… ask why? Ask how? Ask how come? Ask in what ways the data *might* be wrong? Who might have a vested interest in the “results” turning out that way? Ask, ask, ask.

When you stop asking, it ain’t science n’more. It’s “science-ism” and like all “-ism’s” it can no longer fulfil it’s original aims, has been twisted by Agenda and Vested Interest into something socially, economically, and morally destructive.

“Trust the Science” is a science-ism statement, not (not even close to) a science statement — especially (need I say it?) when it comes from a Politician’s Mouth.
